Le Petit Lieu-Dit

After several years of searching for the ideal terroir, we planted in 2012, near our appellation, in LIGRÉ at a place called “Rouilly”, a plot with clay-limestone soil oriented southeast, allowing the SAUVIGNON grape to fully express its potential. The Loire Valley expression of this grape, known for its freshness and finesse, is recognized worldwide. The quality of the first harvests confirmed our intuition : the discovery of a real terroir. To preserve the exceptional aromatic potential of these SAUVIGNON grapes, they are harvested at night. Quickly pressed, the must is worked on fine lees and then vinified at a low temperature.
